Summary

This chart will help you understand the fields that come with the Email to Case Premium application. This information will assist in including the appropriate fields in reports and list views as well as give a broader understanding as to the purpose of each field.

Canned Comment Object
Field NameAPI NameDescription
ActiveE2CP_Active__cDetermines whether this canned comment is available to be selected. Only records where Active = True are available on the New Comment page. Active = False essentially makes the record a draft.
CategoryE2CP_Category__cPicklist for categorizing Canned Comments. Picklist values can be customized just like any pick list field in Salesforce.
CommentE2CP_Comment__cThe text that is inserted in the Comment field on the New Comment page. Merge fields can be inserted much like in email templates using the field picker available on the edit page. (4000 chars)
TitleE2CP_Title__cTitles are displayed in the picklist on the New Comment page and used for identification and selection purposes only. The title is not included in the comment when inserted. (100 chars)
Last Used ByE2CP__Last_Used_By__cCaptures the last User to insert the Canned Comment into a comment on the New Comment page.
Last Used DateE2CP__Last_Used_Date__cCaptures the last time the Canned Comment was inserted into a comment on the New Comment page.
Usage CountE2CP__Usage_Count__cCalculates the total number of times the Canned Comment has been inserted into a comment on the New Comment page.
