Former Positions Release Notes 1.17 - 1.22
- Added Profile Settings for "Former Positions End User" that can be applied to profiles during installation to grant Read only access to Former Positions records. (1.17)
- Added Profile Settings for "Former Positions Manager" that can be applied to profiles during installation to grant Read, Create, Edit, Delete access to Former Positions records. (1.17)
- In Context Help is available when looking at the Former Positions related list (Former Positions Help link) or record detail page (Help for this Page). Note that this is automatic for new installs, but for prior installs, you can enable this by navigating to Setup > Create > Objects > Former Positions and changing the Context Sensitive Help Setting to Visualforce Page and choosing "Config [FormPos__Config]" (1.19)
- Set configuration page title to "Former Positions Configuration". (1.22)
Former Positions is designed to create records when updates are initiated by users through the user interface. Changes to accounts and titles introduced through automation including Apex and Processes may not cause Former Positions records to be created.
